Of course, 2 and a half weeks after I give up drinking for a while, we get in our mailbox a letter from none other than our friendly neighbourhood liquor delivery service (don't ask) saying that as valued customers (don't ask) we are now the proud owners of some long distance calling cards and our next deliveries (don't ask) will be discounted until December 31st.

I smell a conspiracy.
