While my best friend stayed over, I had the opportunity to read some of the stories I'd written.
"Red" was possibly the truest story I'd ever told, without ever having been a white, straight teenage boy in the late-70s or early-80s who'd fallen in love with a native girl in Northern Calgary.
I'm not stupid. I'm not a bad writer.
