Okay...tonight is the Toronto's division of the NaNoWriMo's "Thank God it's Over" party.
Which is, of course, an unusual social situation wherein I walk into a strange place, meet strange people, and have to make conversation of some intelligble sort.
I am forcing myself to go, because social situations, especially those composed entirely of other writers, are probably a good thing.
Eek. Wish me luck.
(and expect another treatise on why I hate social situations sometime soon...)
