Disappointment

So, I didn't get the position, luckily I lost it to a guy who's probably the only person I -could- have lost it to, so that's okay. And I'm not just saying that because he has once or twice read my diary.

And of course, in the way that choices do, this choice has led me to another potential decision...which is to either stay where I'm at in the midnight slot or to move to a full-time position during the day, filling the place recently vacated by the new supervisor. I think I'm going to ask for the full-time position...there are some downsides, but it's a more constant schedule (same shift, same five days a week) and I'd see more of Pookie, and would be getting paid a little more. We shall see what comes of it.

Anywho, I have a staff meeting tonight, and I completely flubbed my sleep schedule so it looks like I will be awake for nearly 24 hours today. Hooray! At least the staff meeting will contain free pizza.
