And on a brighter note, for those keeping score, Iraq's government (whatever it's called) has recommended that Hussein NOT agree to the UN's requirements (ie, weapons inspections, etc) to avoid war. Hussein has the final say, but if he follows the recomendation I believe that the US then has almost a clear road to war.

There's also a lot of other stuff going on, I'm sure. But this is obviously the happiest news.

Oh! And there were protesting students shot and killed somewhere, too. Kabul, I think?

I suppose listening to the news works best when I actually listen.
